Overview

LinkTiles is a Chrome extension that helps you organize bookmarks into spaces and projects. This policy explains how LinkTiles handles your data.

Data Collection

LinkTiles does not collect or store your LinkTiles data on external servers.

All your spaces, projects, tiles, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device using your browser's built-in storage (IndexedDB).

What LinkTiles Accesses

• Bookmarks: With your permission, LinkTiles can read your Chrome bookmarks to import them.
• Tabs: LinkTiles reads tab information so you can save pages and display site icons.
• Local storage / IndexedDB: LinkTiles stores your spaces, projects, tiles, notes, and settings locally on your device.

External Requests

LinkTiles makes requests to fetch favicon images for your saved links and sites. These go to:

• The websites themselves (to fetch their favicon directly)
• Google's favicon service (google.com/s2/favicons)
• icon.horse favicon service

These requests are used only to display site icons in LinkTiles. They may include the site domain needed to retrieve the icon.

LinkTiles does not use these requests for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Analytics & Tracking

LinkTiles does not include analytics, telemetry, or tracking code. We do not collect usage statistics or any other information about how you use the extension.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your LinkTiles data with third parties. Third-party favicon providers may receive favicon requests as described above.

Data Export

You can export your LinkTiles data at any time using the built-in export feature. Exported files are saved to your device.
